Pat Silva (Portugal)Vocal Coaching
Having her roots in Portugal, Pat Silva moved to the capital Lisbon in 1999 to live and work there. She attended the Luis Villas Boas Jazz School (Hot Club de Portugal) in 2003 and has been a friend to jazz ever since. The singer has studied with award winning musicians such as Sheila Jordan and Peter Eldrige, Fay Claasen, Dearmon Meader just to name a few. For the past four years Pat Silva has shared the stages with a growing circle of colleagues including Ana Paula Sousa, Miguel Martins, André Carvalho, Hugo Antunes, Bruno Pedroso, Bijan Azadian, Ben Aschenbach, Anders Grop and many more. With projects like “Swinging in Blue” she gained experience on the road and toured in various jazz-formations through Portugal, Spain and Germany. In May 2006, Pat released her debut Album “A Long Time Ago”(Wemby Records), which combines Jazz, Pop and Country Music.
